This article examines the epistemological F. A. von Hayek for the liberalism, capitalist market, expertise and individuality expressed in the “Theory of Complex Phenomena.” It points out the epistemological stages of his work, questioning the debate with science and understanding on transition to Popperian assumptions. Compared with the principles of dialectical and historical materialism, develops critical to the precepts of political economy at present thought of Hayek. It shows that despite the strong objectivist precept of his thoughts, his analysis found in a metaphysical field of scientific propositions concerning the organization of production of society and integration of human beings.
