In this article I will present some reflections on bringing together the experiences of five adolescent dancers in the Aplysia Project with my own experiences in the roles of researcher, teacher and coordinator. With the theoretical support of several authors, in particular Merleau-Ponty, I conceive the body as something constructed in an ongoing manner from its relationship with the world and the past. I set out from the idea that we perceive the body of the other overlapping with our own when we expose ourselves to their view, leading us to reconstruct our own view of our being. Dance appears as the possibility of recreating experiences lived through the body, by means of contact with the other, which reconstitutes the view of itself.
