This paper treats about some possibilities and potentialities that art, and in special contemporary art, has to contribute in the aesthetic teacher formation. Centrals questions of this research is fomented by the specific work in teacher formation with art (and another fields) and “theoretical provocations” that comes from Michel Foucault and Friederich Nietzsche. The paper presents a few preliminary conclusions from the research “Art and aesthetic of teaching”, with funding of CNPq, that involved the creation and monitoring of a study group of basic education teachers, from different educational levels and discipline areas, with art and aesthetic experience as central focus.
