Abstract

SILVA, Roberto Rafael Dias da. Educação, governamentalidade e neoliberalismo: contribuições foucaultianas para o estudo das políticas de currículo. Educação e Filosofia [online]. 2015, vol.29, n.57, pp.199-223. ISSN 1982-596x.  https://doi.org/10.14393/REVEDFIL29n57p199.

In this essay, mapping the theoretical contributions of governmentality studies for the study of contemporary curriculum policy. Our intention is to position the thought of Michel Foucault within a critical reflection on the state and practice of modern government, in which truths are redescribed and permanently open to new interventions in social life. Assign emphasis to four topics that we consider central to the goal we set ourselves. The recognition of the state as a set of practices, the understanding that such practices mobilize management strategies of subjectivities understanding of neoliberalism as a contemporary way of life and the political necessity of producing "contracondutas" are the issues to be further critically. Will position the Foucault's thinking on governmentality as a work platform for our hypotheses about the contemporary study of curriculum policy.

Keywords : Curriculum Policy; State; Governmentality; Michel Foucault.
