This text points to the Hermeneutics of the assumptions found in philosophical position of Hans-Georg Gadamer in conception that all interpretation involves understanding, welcoming the hermeneutical phenomenon not as a problem of method, but in that structure regarding the understanding of being. The Gadamer is assigned the tradition that recognizes the historicity of intentionality as a state that guides our interpretation of the horizons of our (pre) understanding. Thus, the legacy of tradition comes to us through language, whose role is central / primary. In theory Gadamer, tradition will have a linguistic dimension. The tradition involves the need to understand yourself. Every update in understanding can understand itself as a historical possibility of understood. Besides Gadamer, as we support the discussion D'Agostini, Grondin, Heidegger, Kusch, Rohden, Stein. This is because discourse to understand a tradition requires historical horizon, and a historical text is interpreted only from the historicity (historical consciousness-effectual)interpreter.
