This exhibition aims to analyze Thomas Aquinas" concept of the social virtues, and its recovery as essential elements of city life that flourished in the thirteenth century. We chose two of the questions here dealt by him in the Summa Theologica. Question 106/II-II is the virtue of "Gratitude" and 108/II-II Question refers to the virtue of "Revenge". Our aim is to recover and reflect on these issues because we find in them a deep study of human behavior based on knowledge of Greco-Latin and Sacred Writings that were shaped in Scholastic. Following in the footsteps of the Master is observed that the "knowledge" that creates the condition for understanding human behavior. This perception is fundamental to the teaching because it is the awareness that the knowledge produced in history, at any time, which enables the teaching and preservation of the social behavior of people.
