Objective with this article show the theoretical framework present in the work of Jürgen Habermas (1929- ), from which you can examine to what extent such a thinker established closer relations and or estrangement with the Marxian social theory. Treat it would therefore try to show Jürgen Habermas as Karl Marx player (1818-1883), in such a way to identify possible Marxian influences in his work. In this sense, power would raise the question: Is it possible to think the work of Jürgen Habermas, from the Marxian prism? To answer this question, try to will develop a genealogical work on the social theory of Jürgen Habermas as a way to expose your main points of contact with the social theory of Karl Marx in such a way that enables read the Theorie des Kommunikativen from Marxian lenses. Therefore, the movement of this work is twofold: a) in the fi rst, it is to identify the Marxian analytical categories in the work of Jürgen Habermas; b) in the second deal would of collates them, comparing the meaning and signifi cance that have the work of one and the other; and, by the end c) seek would diagnose and explain the approach relationships and distancing between social theories of the two german philosophers in question.
