Resumen

OLIVEIRA, Renato José de. School learning and ethical formation: a rhetorical approach. Educação e Filosofia [online]. 2016, vol.30, suppl., pp.289-312. ISSN 1982-596x.  https://doi.org/10.14393/REVEDFIL.issn.0102-6801.v30nEspeciala2016-p289a312.

Based on Chaïm Perelman and Michel Meyer, authors whose studies link to the field of rhetoric, this article mainly focuses on the concepts of regressive philosophy (PERELMAN, 1997) and of problematologic difference (MEYER, 2000). The regressive philosophy criticizes the absolute reference points (ontological, epistemological or axiological) characteristic of a way of thinking phi losophically called “first philosophies”. The problematologic difference shows that, among the questions raised about a problem and the responses provided to address, it is possible to envision regions of uncertainty which refer to new issues. With regard to school education developed in the primary and secondary levels of education, both concerning to learning and to ethical formation, the two approaches provide allowances to reflect about the disciplines that make up the curriculum and also on the set of norms, values and forms of behaviour affecting pedagogical practices.

Palabras clave : Regressive Philosophy; Problematology; Ethical Formation; Learning.
