Abstract

The displacement of the schematism of the subject’s understanding for the cultural industry who its presents as the first service provided to the client, re fers to what Adorno and Horkheimer, at Dialectic of Enlightenment, claim that the function of the schematism allows the subject to previously refers to multiplicity of the existent received by the senses to the fundamental concepts, it was taken by this industry. In the investigation of this assertion, we will explore how Kant thought the schematism of the pure concepts of understanding, to understand how Adorno and Horkheimer have appropriated this concept and used it to demonstrate the power of cultural industry to deeply configure the individual existence, hinde ring the understanding and instilling in consciences what has been anticipated in the schematism of production, in function of the expanded reproduction of capital.
