The strong presence of multicultural issues in today’s society became urgent the reflection and the questioning about the importance of culture in the formation of human beings, and makes it imperative to reflect on how education promotes the development of man as a cultural being and preps him for the dialogue and the interaction with other cultures. The goal of this paper is reflecting on the importance of multicultural education in the formation of the human person, highlighting the ethical dimension that is associated to the concepts of culture and education. The interest in understanding multicultural education under the ethics sign leads us looking for multicultural reflection lines in the philosophy of Paul Ricoeur.
