To begin with, we present and criticose a very common classroom model in our schools, the one centred in the teacher’s speech. Then we stand out the need and the importance of transforming the classroom in a place for and of dialogue. We go on to endeavour to give a difinition for dialogue and to establish the conditions for its occuring. Last but not least, we come to the conclusion that dialogue, although scarce, when it occurs, produces a difference, trusts it and respects it.
