The article is about a workshop of writing and inventive reading, in the production of researches in education, given by the author at the end of his doctoral thesis, which had as one of its investigative propositions the writing / reading of researching texts about the tensioning with images. Throughout this chapter, the author refers to some concepts and notions of his thesis and seeks to cross them to the problematizations made possible by the occasion of the workshop. The main objective of the workshop was that the participants thought, from some inputs offered in the thesis of their teacher, their own investigative purposes, as well as strategies for a writing / reading that not only lent itself to a representational character of the writing / read / lived.
