Abstract

ZASLAVSKY, Alexandre. Towards a habermasian concept of pedagogical action. Educação e Filosofia [online]. 2018, vol.32, n.65, pp.747-763.  Epub Sep 21, 2020. ISSN 1982-596X.  https://doi.org/10.14393/revedfil.issn.0102-6801.v32n65a2018-11.

The present article deals with the pedagogical implications of the theory of communicative action, by Jürgen Habermas, specially to a concept of pedagogical action. Through the review of Habermas’ work and also of the specific literature, identifies a tendency of understanding pedagogical action as argumentative process. Proposes a concept of pedagogical action inscribed in the explicative discourse, which goal is to obtain understanding concerning the inteligibility of the meaning. Thus, suggests a solution to the problem of the conceptual compatibility among the presupposition of symmetry of communicative action and the asymmetry of pedagogical action, by the notion of didactical use of language. It aims to contribute for the reflection about a communicative didactics.

Keywords : Communicative action; Explicative discourse; Pedagogical action; Didactic thematization.
