Abstract

DIAZ, Andrea. Teoría crítica y formación: una lectura habermasiana. Rev. Elet. Educ. [online]. 2017, vol.11, n.2, pp.316-326. ISSN 1982-7199.  https://doi.org/10.14244/198271992143.

This article aims to reconstruct the notion of formation as the main problem of a critical theory of education. In the Theory of Semi-formation, Adorno denounces the detachment of experience and the lack of anchorage in the vital praxis of human affairs. Hence, it review the possibility of reconstructing Bildung´s concept anchored in the social processes of symbolic reproduction. Thus, it examines the pragmatic concept of life-world in order to evaluate if, in the processes of reproduction of the life-world, could be justified an idea of formation.

Keywords : Formation; Critical theory; Life-world; Habermas..
