Abstract

MARTINS, Priscila Bernardo  and  CURI, Edda. Supervised Curricular Internship: a historical retrospective on the Brazilian legislation. Rev. Elet. Educ. [online]. 2019, vol.13, n.2, pp.689-701.  Epub Jan 01, 2020. ISSN 1982-7199.  https://doi.org/10.14244/198271992471.

The objective of this article is to portray the historical course of the legislation regarding the Supervised Internship. This was a documentary research, in which decrees, laws, ordinances and directives that regulate the internships were analyzed. Historically, the Supervised Internship concept was instituted in Brazil by the Organic Law of Normal Teaching, enacted in 1946, which defines a single curriculum for all states. Amid propositions and significant changes, the Internship became a minimum curricular component, establishing the obligatoriness of the teaching practice in the form of the Supervised Internship. In view of this historic trajectory of Brazilian legislation, we have seen advances and setbacks regarding teacher training and the Supervised Curricular Internship.

Keywords : Supervised internship; Legislation; Initial teacher training.
