PEREIRA, Luciana de Araújo; MOTA, Charles Maycon de Almeida  y  SILVA, Fabrício Oliveira da. Ways of living, sharing and building experiences in the Griot pedagogy. Rev. Elet. Educ. [online]. 2020, vol.14, e3060025.  Epub 15-Ene-2020. ISSN 1982-7199.  https://doi.org/10.14244/198271993060.

This work approaches orality as an educational principle of the pedagogy of the griot from the memories of the quilombola community Remanso / BA. Its main objective is to analyze the importance of the oral tradition for the maintenance of collective memory and the identity of the group in the narratives of the protagonists of the Trail Griô do Quilombo, in the light of literacy practices and events. Memory, identity, and oral tradition of teachings emerge as major categories that give shape to discussions about griot pedagogy. It is a study that is based on the principles of qualitative research for revealing ways of living, sharing, narrating and constructing meanings for the experiences lived and memorized by a community. In this field, the interviews were foundational elements for revealing knowledge and oral practices as a form of teaching among subjects of different generations. Between some results, the study concluded that listening to the elders and recognizing them as a source of memory is taking care of the community's own history. It is a way of using orality to valorize those who formed this people who are proud of their conquests, and that for this purpose they construct a griot pedagogy, which has in its orality its basic foundation. It is also concluded that school is the main locus for acquiring knowledge in the community, but for this it should not distance itself from local culture, its traditions, community thinking and practices, cultural tradition still resists in the everyday life of these populations.
