Abstract

MOREIRA, Jani Alves da Silva; SAITO, Heloísa Irie Toshie; VOLSI, Maria Eunice França  and  LAZARETTI, Lucinéia Maria. Valorization of professionals or desprofissionalization in children education? "new" and "old" representations of the teacher. Rev. Elet. Educ. [online]. 2020, vol.14, e2663033.  Epub Feb 01, 2020. ISSN 1982-7199.  https://doi.org/10.14244/198271992663.

The purpose of the text is to analyze the policies that constitute the professionalization of the teacher and the process of de professionalization of the teacher of the Child Education, in order to identify the current dilemmas around the criteria and the concept of being a teacher at this educational stage. This is a critical documentary analysis of official governmental sources, resulting from a research developed in the Pirapó Working Group, linked to the Forum of Early Childhood Education of Paraná and to the Inter-Forum Movement of Infantile Education of Brazil, in the period from 2015 to 2017. The mediated analyzes are relevant, since they present the defense of the specific training to the professional that educates the children in Early Childhood Education. We concluded as a conclusion the need for the permanence of teachers with pedagogical training in children's education because we understand that such training enhances the development of a pedagogical work that articulates the care and education, thus allowing a quality Child Education for all children.
