Abstract

CHACON, Daniel José Puente  and  MELO, Marlene Rios. Scientific dissemination in education in Venezuela: hegemony or resistance?. Rev. Elet. Educ. [online]. 2020, vol.14, e3214059.  Epub Mar 03, 2020. ISSN 1982-7199.  https://doi.org/10.14244/198271993214.

The articles published in the Journal EDUCERE by Rivas (2010a, 2010b, 2011a, 2011b, 2012, 2013, 2016a, 2016b, 2017) represent a continuous manifestation of discussions about the Venezuelan reality in terms of scientific disclosure. As an approach to the topic, it is proposed to understand the role played by the discussions presented in the articles (Rivas, 2010a - 2017), through the identification and interpretation of emerging phenomena. The proposal aimed at relating the realities, in denied opportunities, about the informative doing in education in Venezuela. The used methodology was Discursive Textual Analysis, which allowed the creation of categories that contributed to the continuity of the debate presented in the articles collected and concluding the structure of the present article. The crisis in Venezuela is a reality, and the magazines in education are living it in their own flesh, their vulnerability for being considered a 'luxury expense' places them last in line in aspects of national interest. Although everything indicates that scientific journals in education are a means of spreading knowledge, other perspectives are briefly discussed in this research.
