Resumen

This text has, as background thematic representation of education, particularly the writing of education. As a representation of education and writing masters, emerge the intellectual and intellectuals. The text begins by addressing education-institution, after which it is presented an epistemology centered on the relationship between the intellectual and educationinstitution, bringing together the notions of intelectivity, educability, historicity. At the end, after an interdisciplinary view and a historical and educational perspective on the innovation of school contexts and regimentation, I present a contribution of the history of education for the knowledge of intellectuals in education. I take as references the Portuguese proposal Bases para a Solução dos Problemas da Educação Nacional, signed by intellectuals of Seara Nova, and the Brazilians manifests O Manifesto dos Pioneiros da Educação Nova (1932) e Manifesto dos Educadores: Mais uma vez convocados (1959).
