This paper aims to recover the historically installation processes and development of educational institutions in Londrina, through the systematization of documentary data (files) and memories (testimonies of the protagonists). We adopted as initial time frame the year 1936, the date of creation of the first public school in Londrina, and as a final time cutting the 2000s. Methodologically proceeded initial mapping of schools in the state schools. This decision supports the fact that this is the oldest network in the city, even considering the existence of a faith school whose foundation year is the same as the opening of the first public school group in the city. The sources used for this initial survey was the website of the State Education Department (SEED / PR). Systematized the results here correspond to what Magellan (1999) classifies as previous histories.
