This text was built from a bibliographical and documentary research, with the purpose of doing a historical review of the seventeenth year of operation of the Pedagogy Course of the Philosophy, Science and Linguistics College Dom Bosco (FFCLDB) from Santa Rosa/RS. The historical review emphasis aims at analyzing and understanding which is the profile of the onto-anthropological and curricular conception of the Pedagogy Course since its creation in 1976 until its extinction in 1993. The idea is to explain how Dom Bosco’s Preventive System and, somehow, Salesian Pedagogy demarcated space and education environments and also which are the possible implications and the ramifications of Catholic ideals for the organization and the operation of the Pedagogy Course of the Educational Institute Dom Bosco (IEDB).
