This paper results from a literature review survey, which aimed at producing a cartography on Commercial Education, locating, systematizing, and analyzing studies produced in Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Brazil. Methodologically, we resorted to the literature review as a way to circumscribe the “Commercial Education” topic and analyze some of the productions that approach it. We chose to select works that are directly related to the topic, which was followed by a process of reading, systematizing and analyzing them. Articles, books, Brazilian dissertations, and theses were analyzed, as well as studies produced in/about the studied countries. Generally, the results point that, in the Brazilian context, productions resulting from Masters' degree studies prevail; they focus on specific institutions; therefore, we observe an absence of general studies on the topic. Regarding papers produced in/about Italy, Portugal, and Spain, we identified studies that analyze Commercial Education in a comprehensive way, offering methodological and thematic indications for Brazilian researchers.
