Resumen

BASTOS, Luciene Maria. Plato and the human formation in the republic. Rev. Reflex [online]. 2013, vol.21, n.1, pp.296-304. ISSN 1982-9949.  https://doi.org/10.17058/rea.v21i1.3747.

In The Republic, Plato inquires about the true meaning of justice in the establishment of the best possible society, whose cornerstone is the formation of the fair man. The philosopher refers to the expression by nature as he exposes his educational proposal. This could leave people to think that the philosopher conceives the formative process of man as the development of natural aptitudes. The aim of this work is to investigate if, and how much, the mention to the nature in man really designates innate natural gifts, as well as its relation with education in the human formation proposed.

Palabras clave : Social Representation; Environment and Environmental Education.
