Abstract

When researchers dive deeply about Brazil twentieth century, certainly the years 1963/64 cannot come to light without the attention it deserves. The newspaper articles of the time explicit in assorted colors the climate that lived during those months preceding and after the the civil military coup. Currently, street demonstrations in our country, and the related media reports, motivate to resume some research materials bringing out the political effervescence of climate fifty years ago. Thus, in Foucault's inspiration, this text invites to an analytical exercise about the truths instituted in print, on politics and education, from newspapers Correio do Povo , Última Hora y Zero Hora around the year 1963 and part of 1964.
