Abstract

BRAGA, Pedro Luis; SAURA, Soraia Chung  and  ZIMMERMANN, Ana Cristina. Teaching performances: knowledge river displacements in embedded praxis. Rev. Reflex [online]. 2022, vol.30, n.1, pp.148-164.  Epub Aug 17, 2023. ISSN 1982-9949.  https://doi.org/10.17058/rea.v30i1.15898.

By crossing the meaning of performance and teaching, as worked by philosophers such as Derrida and Gusdorf, this text tests the possibilities of displacing the notion of teacher Knowledge as an object, capable of being transferred, to that Knowledge incorporated as Praxis, in presence manifested in gestures and constituted in the relationship between teachers and students. From Critical-Performative Pedagogy and performance studies, we propose that teaching must be understood as knowledge performance that constitutes the non-transferable personality inherent in the subjectivation processes.

Keywords : Performance; Knowledge; Teaching; Incorporation; Presence.
