Abstract

FRANCA, Daniel de Souza  and  VOIGT, Jane Mery Richter. Full-time integral high school: socio-emotional competence for an integral education?. Rev. Reflex [online]. 2022, vol.30, n.2, pp.6-20.  Epub July 06, 2023. ISSN 1982-9949.  https://doi.org/10.17058/rea.v30i2.16378.

This article proposes a discussion regarding a socio-emotional component as a skill to be developed by Full-time Integral High School (EMITI) students for an integral formation in the relationship between the world of work and school. The study is based on curriculum policies, and on curriculum and youth research. Documentary analysis and interviews with EMITI professors indicated a growing centrality regarding the socio-emotional aspect in curricula, which is indispensable for subject insertion into the job market, as a result of international organizations pressure and public-private partnerships in the elaboration and conduction of the curriculum.

Keywords : Curricular Policies; Integral Education; High-School; Curriculum; Socio-emotional Competence.
