Abstract

The article, derived from doctoral research, aims to present the possibilities of a Geodesic Dome to enhance the development of Integral Education. Data were produced in interviews with teachers and students involved in the Geodesic Dome construction and installation at IFSul/CaVG, Pelotas, RS, Brazil, and analyzed through Discursive Textual Analysis. By promoting sensitivity through contact with the natural environment, the Geodesic Dome promotes Aesthetic-Environmental Education, configuring itself as a classroom that benefits the possibilities of integral training and extended working hours, into a welcoming and hospitable school environment for innovative educational practices.
