A quasi-experimental study with a qualitative/quantitative approach to evaluate educational action on filling out the notification form for interpersonal/self-inflicted violence during the curricular activity for training nurses. An elaborated case and notification form of violence from the Information System of Notifiable Diseases and specific guidelines in classroom within 93 undergraduate students from the school of nursing. This filling the form was evaluated using the Kruskal-Wallis test, verifying variations in some of the fields regarding the course length. It was concluded that this action favored the knowledge and correct filling of the form by the undergraduates.
