Resumen

MIRANDA, Camila Lima; NASCIMENTO, Wilson Elmer  y  SANTOS, Magno Rodrigues. Artisanal cachaça production and science teaching in rural education. Rev. Reflex [online]. 2023, vol.31, n.1, pp.177-195.  Epub 06-Nov-2024. ISSN 1982-9949.  https://doi.org/10.17058/rea.v31i1.17520.

By highlighting a traditional practice, the artisanal production of the cachaça, we sought to point its pedagogical possibilities from a dialogical perspective of Science, Technology and Society (CTS). Through the analysis of a semi-structured interview with a cachaça producer. Making it possible to problematize the reality of the local community, valuing social and cultural practices and human emancipation, contributed to the development of critical and reflective science teaching. It also reinforces a commitment to Rural Education, which has its premises based on the valorization of the peasants' ways of life.

Palabras clave : Cachaça; CTS; Rural Education; Science Education.
