Abstract

GUEYE, V. Babacar. DIFICULDADES DE UM CULTURA CIENTÍFICA DE TÉCNOLÓGICA NO MEIO RURAL AFRICANO. Ens. Pesqui. Educ. Ciênc. [online]. 2003, vol.5, n.1, pp.23-28. ISSN 1983-2117.  https://doi.org/10.1590/1983-21172003050103.

Most of the African countries are underdeveloped. The poverty is very deep in rural areas. The rural populations try to get out of this situation, facing the isolation derived from great cultural and physical distances. However, by observing these people's habits we verify that these communities have a particular scientific culture that is based in social values, and, that, unfortunately, goes against the occidental scientific and technological culture.

Keywords : sustainable development; rural population..
