Abstract

MONTENEGRO, Vanda Luiza dos Santos  and  FERNANDEZ, Carmen. REFLECTIVE PROCESS AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF PEDAGOGICAL CONTENT KNOWLEDGE DURING AN IN-SERVICE TRAINING INTERVENTION OF CHEMISTRY TEACHERS. Ens. Pesqui. Educ. Ciênc. [online]. 2015, vol.17, n.1, pp.251-275. ISSN 1983-2117.  https://doi.org/10.1590/1983-211720175170112.

The Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) is recognized as the teacher professional knowledge and develops through practical activities and reflective processes. In this research, we analyze the development of PCK of two teachers who participated in a reflective process in a collaborative group involving individual and group actions. Data include written texts, videos of oral discussions and lessons and the reflective cycle of Smyth. Data analysis was based on Hexagonal Model and discursive interactions. The teachers, from the reflective process, become aware of some actions from the participation of the cooperative group, revealing a process of developing PCK similar to that proposed in the model of pedagogical reasoning and action.
