MARINHO, Julio Cesar Bresolin  and  SILVA, João Alberto da. CONCEPTS AND IMPLICATIONS OF LEARNING HEALTH EDUCATION. Ens. Pesqui. Educ. Ciênc. [online]. 2015, vol.17, n.2, pp.351-371. ISSN 1983-2117.  https://doi.org/10.1590/1983-21172015170204.

This paper aims to understand the concepts and implications of learning Health Education in elementary school. A qualitative methodology was used. Data were interpreted by Content Analysis. For a meaningful learning in Health Education to be reached, it was found necessary for teachers to start from what is known by the students thus fostering the awareness of actions at the expense of health, so that individuals can act autonomously. When disregarding prior knowledge and excelling and sustaining learning by repetition and habit creation, teachers favor the manifestation of a heteronomous behavior.
