Resumen

We present the results of a research that analyzed the presentation of the Physics scientific production developed in Brazil, in the Physics didactics books from the Brazilian National Program of Textbooks in the years of 2018-2020. It was identified 17 citations of renowned Brazilian physicists and scientists. The results show that Brazilian physicists and the research/teaching institutions are presented in a supporting way. We discuss the need for dissemination and valorization of the Physics production developed at national level. This is absent in the analyzed books. We defend that a possible dissemination and valorization of such production could be in the presence/introduction of discussions about the history and national scientific development in the books belonging to the national program.
