Abstract

PACHECO, Alan Carlos Rocha. ASSUMPTIONS OF ASSESSMENT IN THE APPLICATION OF DIGITAL GAMES IN CHEMISTRY TEACHING: AN ANALYSIS BASED ON A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW. Ens. Pesqui. Educ. Ciênc. [online]. 2023, vol.25, e40202.  Epub June 10, 2023. ISSN 1983-2117.  https://doi.org/10.1590/1983-21172022240144.

This study aims to investigate how the assessment process based on the use of digital games in chemistry teaching is being conducted, based on the analysis of academic production published in electronic databases. For this, data collection took place through a Systematic Literature Review, developed between the period from 2011 to 2021 in the SCOPUS, Web of Science, ACS Publications and Portal de Periódicos CAPES databases. 49 articles were collected and the analysis was carried out from the perspective of content analysis. The results showed a greater frequency of works that sought to evaluate issues related to the operation of the game and left aside questions about the evaluation that could attest if there was any learning during the digital game.

Keywords : Game based learning; Chemical education; Assessment processes.
