GALIAZZI, Maria do Carmo et al. Latin American Research in Chemical Education: Teaching Challenges During the Pandemic. Ens. Pesqui. Educ. Ciênc. [online]. 2025, vol.27, e55912. Epub 20-Jul-2025. ISSN 1983-2117. https://doi.org/10.1590/1983-2117-55912.
Based on a mapping of scientific productions by Latin American researchers in Chemical Education - Spanish-speaking -, which resulted in eight thematic axes, this work presents the analysis of the axis that brought together productions about Chemistry Teaching in the Pandemic. The methodology for analyzing the texts was phenomenological-hermeneutic. It was noted that teachers were significantly concerned about teaching, learning and assessment during the pandemic period. There are texts that lead to a necessary discussion about the Chemistry curriculum, which has been propagated as a set of pre-established concepts, with little attention to the socio-environmental conditions of students. The strategies of Chemistry teachers deserve to be discussed and analyzed to promote the rupture of a decontextualized curriculum
