Multiculturalism in education circunscribes tensions and complexixities that permeate the diversity of culturales in order to consider the exclusion and invisibility that affect them due to racual, ehtnic, socio-religious, gender issues, among others. The emphasis of this text falls on the religius sociabily fron the practices cerated by the Project “Ser Criança” of the house of Umbanda Axé Odé Mutalambô, located in the hinterland of Paraíba. A children’s Project in a religious environment is a premise for discussing and confronting the signos of intolerance the impact terreiro communities. Such markers request and educacion for alternaty in order to form the new generations to overcome stingmas and silencing.
