Abstract

MARTINS, Débora Borges  and  RODRIGUES, Adriana. TEACHING PROPOSALS FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION: THE TRIAD PLAY, CREATIVITY AND LANGUAGE. Eccos Rev. Cient. [online]. 2023, n.65, e22350.  Epub Feb 16, 2024. ISSN 1983-9278.  https://doi.org/10.5585/eccos.n65.22350.

The present text is the result of a master’s degree in education research at the University of Uberaba (Uniube) linked to the line of research Professional Development, Teaching Work and Teaching-Learning Process. We seek through research to defend a space for Early Childhood Education with didactic proposals that consider play, creativity, and language. When delving into the theme, we understand that it is necessary to break with the duality of becoming and assistentialism, recognizing the child as a "subject of rights", considering the child's conditions and the particularities of the psyche. In this way, the present text aims to highlight the importance of play, of language and of creativity in the context of Early Childhood Education, with a theoretical contribution from the Historical-Cultural perspective. The bibliographic and documental research sought to organize charts, tables, summaries, personal notes through reading records and thus establish relationships between the triad: language, play, creativity and contribute with didactic proposals for Early Childhood Education considering the current legislation. We conclude that the principles of the Historical-Cultural Theory contribute to an intentional practice that values childhood in its different languages, recognizing an interventionist action and respect for singularities.
