TAVARES, Vanessa dos Santos  y  PASSONE, Eric Ferdinando. DROPOUT IN UNDERGRADUATE COURSES AT THE FEDERAL INSTITUTES OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY: A BIBLIOGRAPHIC REVIEW. Eccos Rev. Cient. [online]. 2023, n.66, e23092.  Epub 19-Feb-2024. ISSN 1983-9278.  https://doi.org/10.5585/eccos.n66.23092.

This is a study on the phenomenon of dropout which happens in presential undergraduate courses at the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology (IFs), in the period comprising from 2016 to 2021. It aimed to map Brazilian scientific production, at the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program, in order to verify the specifics of female evasion. It is a clipping of a larger research with a bias which seeks to discuss the relationship of the female social role in articulation with the phenomenon of evasion. Fourteen studies were found, including five theses and nine dissertations. The results show that dropout is a unanimous problem among the FIs present in this clipping and their causes are multifactorial, such as, difficulties in reconciling work and study, lack of adaptation in the course, relationship problems with teachers, among others. It is noted that there is no deepening of issues related to female evasion in studies which focuses on student dropout. In view of the various factors that trigger evasion, it is believed that this study may provide subsidies for other research and introduce new perspectives about the phenomenon and its developments such as public investment and social development.
