Resumo

The paper aims to present a qualitative research based in imaginary and spiritualists theories. The objective was to research the meaning of yoga practices with six teachers of Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Excepcionais, in a city of Rio Grande do Sul, NW. To collect datas it was realized an aesthetic education workshop, with seven meetings centered in the practice of koshas, afterwards, the iconographic collective interview was answered through drawings and for the interpretation the Transtextual Singular Reading developed by Ormezzano (2001). The results brought that yoga wake up in the interviewers the necessity of personal re-meaning and an approach to spiritual dimension. Yoga, as a philosophy of life, with teachers, could be understand as audacious direction, but necessary to the process of developing these professionals in their multiples dimensions, to get more harmony and equilibrium at their lives and well-being.
