Abstract

CEPPAS, Filipe. The teaching philosophy as a "classical question" in the tradition of philosophical thought. Educação. Santa Maria [online]. 2015, vol.40, n.1, pp.53-61. ISSN 1984-6444.  https://doi.org/10.5902/1984644415911.

In this article, I try to show that teaching and learning philosophy are central issues to Western philosophical tradition. I try to argue in favor of this thesis in two directions. First, it is analyzed in terms of the relationship between thinking, judgment, and teaching and learning philosophy. Secondly, I seek to adress the importance of the masterdisciple relationship to the history of philosophy.

Keywords : Learning and Teaching Philosophy; Judgment; Masterdisciple Relationship.
