The aim of this paper was to reflect on comics as a teaching resource in the Science and Biology teaching. From the experience as a professor in the Biological Sciences course, which we worked in the Teaching Methodology subject since 2009, we infer that comics can be useful in education, the future teachers approve its using and they would propose that their students draw up their own comics. We alert to the conceptual adequation, because the use of comics presupposes an absolute correction, unless in the cases in which the teacher wishes to compare the appropriate concept; for language, considering that many cartoonists use a foul language in their productions; for the image, because the authors build characters that are not easily identified as persons or they are unknown animals; for the values, because comics can show particular judgments from the authors.
