Absence of coherent and continuous public policies focusing on teacher training for Vocational and Technological Education (VTE) has resul ted in several educational experiences, which requires systematic study to understand who is that teacher working at technical and technologi cal schools. How to acquire pedagogical sustainability in these courses, institutions and educational programs that aims professionalization at all levels of education without training and valuation of VTE teachers? Based on this questioning and from bibliographical and documentary studies, this article presents and discuss the possibilities of professional master in education to training teachers who act or will act in a such teaching modality. If technical and technological configures the speci fic issues of this formation and professional masters charged of training teachers in this area, thus a deep study on technology and its social and cultural implications could not be ignored as one of its theoretical and practical fundamentals. Regarding on teacher’s professionalization, one could consider an important contribution from professional masters focusing on VTE, to encourage a permanent reflection on the con nections between education and work linked to the technoscientific development.
