In the present work the goal is investigate, in the productions of the Physics and Sciences Teaching area, the articulation between the assumptions of the Thematic Approach (TA) and the context of the Rural Education. By the Textual Discursive Analysis, it was analyzed seventy six works originating from events and journals of the Physics Teaching area and five works from the National Meeting of Research in Education in Sciences. From this assessment emerged the category “Articulation between the Thematic Approach perspective and the Rural Education”. The research realized indicates that the works about the Thematic Approach of Physics Teaching area not established relations with the Rural Education. Besides that, in the Sciences Teaching also there is a lack of studies with this bias. Thus, it was signaled the necessity of expand the researches about the articulation between the perspective of the TA and the Rural Education, aimed that this perspective can contribute in the construction of the curriculum of the schools in rural areas.
