Abstract

NEVES, Júlia Guimarães  and  FRISON, Lourdes Maria Bragagnolo. Life in the form of history: times/places of experience. Educação. Santa Maria [online]. 2020, vol.45, e35844.  Epub July 18, 2023. ISSN 1984-6444.  https://doi.org/10.5902/1984644435844.

The research entitled "Life in the Form of History: times/places of experience" aimed to provide theoretical and methodological significance regarding narrative biographical research through the production of the life story of a prominent educator / researcher from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Therefore, this life in the form of history is presented in this text as a rich material in order to model lived events to show dimensions related to experiential times/places constituent of this history as comprehensive elements dear to (self)biographical research. The narrative circuit, constituted by the given word and attentive listening, provided analytical elements for the search of this desideratum. In the process of analysis, through Understanding Scenic, we seek to apprehend the senses that lived places and moments, narrated reflexively, occupy in the course of a life. It is through reflection, undertaken within the narrative circuit, that the experiences evolve into meaningful, formative experiences, therefore, by way of a singular and at the same time plural history, since it seeks to construct meanings of lived in a given sociohistorical context context. The (self)biographical research thus operates life histories that represent, in addition to a product, in this case, the life of a prominent educator in the form of a history, a theoretical-methodological option that includes formative dimensions of human sensitivity. Thus, at the same time as honoring a life, the present article has the scope to illuminate possibilities that the research in life histories provides by the reflection of the narrated, enabling understandings about ways in which the self biographical subject is (re) invented: in the present by the remembrance of the past, projecting himself in the present/future production of a learning mediated by a history composed by a set of experiences lived in biographical times and narrative places.
