This article constitutes of a relact academic scientist research of exploratory qualitative approach that explored pedagogical teachers practices with two childhood education classes in city of Campinas. The question of research was understand how the newspaper can be a mediator of childhood language and thoughts development. In this article we showed the analyzes made by means of the interlacing of semistructured interviews transcriptions with reported observations. The empiric material was analyzed considering the assumptions of cultural history theory and bakhtinian perspective. We put in evidence that pedagogical practices planned considering the newspaper how mediator, made possible the insertions of children in a literate world and in the surrounding reality and the propose of elaboration of a classroom newspaper constituted a deflector of childhood textual production. The discursive genres inside the newspaper made possible the interlocution, exchange of experience and the thematical approaches in the teachers planning, making the teach contextualized and significant.
