Abstract

REIS, Katarina Pereira; VIANNA, José Antonio; FERREIRA, Telma Antunes Dantas  and  LOVISOLO, Hugo Rodolfo. Perception of bullying practice at school. Educação. Santa Maria [online]. 2020, vol.45, e38215.  Epub Sep 06, 2023. ISSN 1984-6444.  https://doi.org/10.5902/1984644438215.

Bullying practitioners have been little investigated in the research on the phenomenon. In order to verify the perception of bullying practitioners we proceeded to the progressive focus of the investigated ones in which we found 63 students with three or more records in this period - 31 students were still in the investigated institution. A total of 19 students (M = 13, F = 6) participated in the comprehensive interview in focus groups. The subjects associated the practice of bullying with pleasure and fun. According to those investigated bullying occurs daily and provides both the practitioner and the target, the acquisition of the ability to deal with adversity. The abandonment of the practice occurs, progressively, from the influence of agencies of socialization (school and family) and the commitment with the perspectives of the adult life.
