According to several studies, hospitalization situations or health treatment may compromise the learning process, development, and children and teenager's schooling. Therefore, a specialized atention must be offered to these clients. The academic assistance at a Hospital environment, aforementioned as hospital classes are an alternative to try to minimize those efects. This article was done in the purpose to portrayal those stablished relationships, process dinamics, interferences, funcioning, structure and implemented policies. However there has been some attendance for it in Brasil; the Education Ministry oficially created them in 1994 by means of the National Politics of Special Education. New regulations where successfully rising, at federal, state and municipal levels, regulating and normalizing the educational politics at a hospital environment. This way, the state and municipal office started to implement, to follow-up and oversee all the pedagogic work done at hospitals. At this attendance, the responsable teachers made education plans - academic and recreative activities - for students who came from preschool education, elementary school and high school, taking into consideration physical, psycological, social and educational conditions, always with the colaboration and participation of the health multidisciplinary staff. Besides, those professionals must make exchange programs directly with schools, with the objective to give continuity to the school process, as before effected, knowing the full academic path and learning from those students.
