Abstract

MATOS, Sônia Regina da Luz  and  SCHULER, Betina. Teaching and the class as rehearsal. Educação. Santa Maria [online]. 2021, vol.46, e39574.  Epub Dec 04, 2023. ISSN 1984-6444.  https://doi.org/10.5902/198464439574.

One of the current national policies for teacher education has been put into practice through the Institutional Teacher Training Program (Pibid). By means of this macro-policy, the project known as Curricular Practices of Writing and Reading and Teacher Training has taken part in this political scenario by connecting public school and university. The paper approaches the class by considering conceptual tools provided by Nietzsche and Deleuze. In the first part of the paper, teaching is both defined as creating will and articulated to the notion of class as rehearsal. In the second part, the operation of the genealogical criticism is presented as one of the main didactical elements of a class as rehearsal. From this conceptual perspective, the third part of the paper presents the experimentation of the didactical element of the genealogical criticism in the class named as “Workshop with the witches: between good and evil”, carried out with early grade students in a public school through the Pibid. From that, the witch character was carried to the territory of the genealogical critic as a element of didactics of the class as rehearsal, allowing the problematization of values and the denaturalization of the stereotypes.
