The use of different digital technologies in education is necessary, due to the reality in which our society finds itself. Therefore, it's essential to reconsider the teaching practices, especiallywhen it comes to the transmission and acquisition of knowledge. The objective of this research is to analyze, utilizing a bibliographic review of the typestate-of-knowledge, the use of digital games in Science Teaching in high school. The investigation started in the first semester of 2022 in the CAPES Periodicals data base, using nine search descriptors for data collection. Therewere a total of eleven periodicals found on the topic of digital games, divided into games of entertainment and serious games After the collection, these journals were analyzed by pre-defined categories using a method Content of Analysis. The research allowed to verify that these artifacts are important in Science Teaching, using different types of games, whichemphasizes the interest of the students and offers new possibilities in the teaching and learning processes, based upon active participation to the development of knowledge and skills.
