This text aims to highlight the debates and positions of researchers associated with the Inter-Forums Movement of Early Childhood Education of the Brazil (Mieib) on Early Childhood Education in/of the Countryside, from 2008 to 2019, through the mapping of productions available on the movement's website. The interest in that movement is justified because it is an important autonomous organization, in defense of Early Childhood Education in its various dimensions. In addition, the theme also arose from the importance of giving visibility to countryside children and childhoods, an issue that has been highlighted in recent years, especially after the guarantee of the right to education by the Federal Constitution of 1988 and the Law of Guidelines and Bases of 1996. It is a bibliographic research, based on a critical and dialectic analysis and with the use of interviews. Furthermore, it relies on Antonio Gramsci's reflections on civil society. As a result, it was identified that the site aggregates debates related to Education of the Countryside, social movements and other issues; but there are still few studies and research referring to Early Childhood Education in/of the Countryside and, when they appear, they are immersed in general guidelines for Early Childhood Education. Therefore, the debate on Early Childhood Education in/of the Countryside is still timid, even though Mieib presents a position committed to children and childhoods residing in different contexts.
